This May, I had the incredible opportunity to attend Cibus 2024, one of Europe’s largest and most prestigious food fairs, held in Parma, Italy. This event is a significant gathering for the agri-food sector, showcasing over 3,000 brands and attracting around 60,000 visitors from across the globe.

As a facilitator of business connections between European companies and Latin American markets, my presence at Cibus was aimed at fostering partnerships and exploring new opportunities for collaboration. The fair provided a unique platform to engage with a diverse array of Italian food and beverage producers, offering everything from traditional Italian products to innovative new food trends.

During my time at the fair, I focused on establishing and strengthening business relationships, particularly with Italian companies looking to expand into Latin American markets.

The highlight of the event was the opportunity to discuss future collaborations in person. This face-to-face interaction allowed for more meaningful connections and a deeper understanding of our clients’ needs and aspirations. At ALKADO we are excited to assist some remarkable Italian companies in bringing their delicious products to Latin American markets.

In summary, my visit to Parma and participation in Cibus 2024 has been immensely productive. The event has opened new doors for collaboration and reinforced ALKADO’s commitment to bridging European and Latin American business landscapes. I look forward to leveraging these new insights and partnerships to drive further success for our clients in the Latin American market.
